Sixth Form Trip to Malaga

Year 13 students from the Hitchin Consortium embarked on a five-day immersion trip to Andalucía. Based in the coastal town of La Cala del Moral, students lived with local host families, providing a truly authentic taste of Spanish life.

The schedule balanced academic rigour - including private Spanish classes and work experience workshops - with iconic cultural excursions to Granada’s Alhambra Palace and Málaga’s Alcazaba fortress. From mastering Flamenco workshops to exploring Europe’s only submarine cave, our students showed fantastic engagement, making this a highly motivating experience for their final year of Spanish studies.
