Sports Centre Lettings
The HBS Sports Centre is a lottery funded Hitchin Boys' School initiative and provides additional sporting opportunities for the public in North Hertfordshire.
The HBS Sports Centre is a dual use (school and community) centre and is open to the public every evening, weekends and during school holiday periods. The range of activities and courses on offer is extensive and includes:
- Trampolining and Gymnastics including Parent and Toddler and Preschool
- Space for bespoke parties and functions
- Ballet and contemporary dance
- Cheerleading and circus skills
- After school Art club
- Badminton, Pickleball and Table Tennis
- Martial Arts
- Fitness classes
- Football, lacrosse and hockey
- Cricket
- Basketball
- All Weather Pitch
The 'Malcolm Hunt Memorial All Weather Pitch' is operated by The Hitchin Boys' School Charitable Trust which is a Registered Charity No. 801251. The pitch is available for hire out of school hours and at weekends, and it is a 2G sand-dressed pitch suitable for hockey, football and similar activities.
