Malaysia Trip 2025

Malaysia Trip 2025

Our last ever trip to Malaysia saw a team of 27 students travel across the world to learn to scuba dive in the Perhentian Islands. This gave them the opportunity to gain a qualification whilst seeing the biodiversity of the local coral reefs. As part of their stay they were educated in the conservation of turtles on the islands and were lucky enough to see a large female laying eggs and the release of hatchlings. From here the students went off to a number of other ecosystems including both rainforests and mangroves to take part in rafting, abseiling and kayaking activities. Kuala Lumpur was an impressive end to our trip with the backdrop of the Petronas towers and the second tallest tower in the world. The boys fully embraced the new culture, food and way of life. Having planned the trip, managed their finances for the duration and led their own day whilst there, they have hopefully come back more confident and with a wider skill set.
