The Times Visits HBS
This week we welcomed The Times newspaper through the gates to investigatehow we manage our phone ban within the school.
They wrote a compelling piece on how the ban has benefitted the school in so many ways including learning, playing, less anxiety for students and many more. Amir Taziny, Y11 said "It has had an impact on break and lunch because most people talk to eachother, or play football, rather than maybe lok at their phone or message each other." A few of our younger students told of how they didn't struggle with the transition as more primary schools are also phone free which is fantastic.
We are very proud to be a phone free school and daily see the benefit of this being implimented.
