Quadcopter Success

Last month the HBS Y9 Quadcopter Challenge teams took the regional finals by storm, securing 1st and 2nd place in the region. Team Skybites were 1st and Team Copter Crew came 2nd with less than 1 point separating the two teams. Skybites secured their place in the National Finals, which took place in Central London last week where they had to navigate flying obstacle courses and present their idea for how their drone would support local heroes by linking up with food banks and food delivery services. They were highly commended by the judges for their presentation and won an award for being the fastest flying team in the UK (out of 14 regions spanning as far as Scotland and Northern Ireland)
